Recent publications extend the conclusions obtained during the 2nd meeting of WAPONET Network held in the city of Seville.
Specifically, in this meeting WAPONET members participated hand to hand with a large group of social agents coordinated in the Mesa Social del Agua, as well as organizations that work with vulnerable groups: homeless people (La Carpa Project), neighborhood experiences (Torreblanca , El Vacie), APDHA marginalization and housing aroup, Asisti Collective (agricultural seasonal workers), together with the deputy to the Andalusian Ombudsman.

Statement in solidarity with the migrant workers of Lepe. For the Human Right to Water!
Red Andaluza de la Nueva Cultura del Agua (in which WAPONET members participate) and Red Agua Pública-Marea Azul del Sur express through this statement their support for the migrant seasonal workers of Huelva camps, people who work from sun to sun generating a great wealth in this land, but who nonetheless lack of decent minimum living conditions. The news of the latest events related to the fire of the settlement where some 400 people lived, seriously worsens the situation, given the impossibility of living, even if, in a situation of extreme precariousness as they had in the wrecked town.
The 7th and 8th of november 2019, the second meeting of the WAPONET Network took place in the city of Seville.
The main objective of the work sessions was to carry out an exhaustive follow-up of the research lines of the network, as well as discussing the details of the final outputs of the project. Access the minutes of the meeting here.

A Law Proposal for the Regulation of Water and Sanitation Services has recently been accepted for processing and published on the website of the Congress of Deputies. (122/000314. Presented on 12/20/2018, and qualified on 01/09/2019).
