WAPONET is a project funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities under the 2017 Call for Actions of Dynamization “Networks of Excellence” of the State Programme for the Promotion of Scientific and Technical Research of Excellence, State Subprogramme of Knowledge Generation (CSO2017-90702-REDT) for the period 2018-2020.

WAPONET is thought to be collaborative and complementary to current works and initiatives that are being carried out in the field of poverty.

WAPONET does not plan to replace or overlap those initiatives but to facilitate the linkage among them as well as the access to the information they generate.

WAPONET will work towards the coordination of ongoing activities and will empower sharing information and experiences among all actors in the value chain.

Currently, there are no other networks related to water poverty, at least addressing this topic in such an integrated and multidisciplinary way.
